Hat check man Louis Blore is in love with nightclub star May Daly. May, however, is love with a poor dancer, but wants to marry for money. When Louis wins the Irish Sweepstakes, he asks May to marry him and she accepts even though she doesn't love him. I love the song Gene sings, "Do I Love You?" He sings it so beautifully.

He really does! He's not as well known for his voice, as well as fred astair wasn't, but they both had great voices!! I love when he sings with movies that have judy garland in them! Their voices really go well together!
